Refund Policy
In most cases, all payments are non-refundable once processing and event preparations have begun.
VISA DECLINE
In the situation where an attendee’s visa for entry into Australia is formally declined, the applicant will be entitled to a refund of 60% of the Registration Fee paid online. Each application will be reviewed case-by-case. If you have paid your fee direct to the Mission, Conference or Union office, the office will need apply for the refund on your behalf.
For each request for refund, the applicant must:
- send an official request for refund to the email address provided below. The deadline for all requests for refund must be made by Friday the 29th of May.
- include all written correspondence of the visa refusal or decline.
The remaining 40% is non-refundable as this covers administrative costs, venue booking fees and other non-recoverable costs incurred.
This policy applies only to visa refusals and does not cover other circumstances.
